On October 27, 2020 the Army Corps of Engineers approved the application of our client, Eastbound Inc., for a Jurisdictional Determination and Nationwide Permit #18 for their property in East Rutherford.


On October 14, 2020 the NJDEP approved the application of our client, 6800 Street Partners, LLC, for a Flood Hazard Area Verification, Individual Permit and Water Quality Certificate, for their property in North Bergen.


On October 8, 2020 the NJDEP Bureau of Tidelands Management approved the application of our client, 6800 Street Partners, LLC for a Tidelands License on their property in North Bergen.


On August 19, 2020 the NJSEA approved the zoning certification application of our client M&C Realty, for Site Improvements on their property in Carlstadt.

On February 5, 2019 the Bloomfield Planning Board approved the Site Plan application of our client, AR North Developers, LLC, for a 344 unit residential complex on their property in Bloomfield.


On May 30, 2018, the NJDEP approved the application of our client Jefferson Recycling Company of a renewal of their Class B recycling Permit on their property in Jefferson.


On May 10,2018 the NJSEA approved the bulk variance applications of our client WY Industries Inc related to the proposed addition to their warehouse in North Bergen.

On March 6,2018, Bloomfield approved the request of our client AR North Developers for a Major Soil Movement Permit on their property in Bloomfield.


On February 9,2018 Judge  Turula of the Hudson County Superior Court denied the suit of  our client Mori Properties against the NJDEP regarding certain riparian claims on their property in Secaucus.


On December 22, 2017, Secaucus approved the request of our client, J. Pyskaty Disposal, for a zoning certificate for certain site improvements at their facility in Secaucus.


On December 14, 2017, the NJSEA approved the request of our client, Hanover Holdings, LLC, for a Zoning change to allow development on their property in North Bergen.


On October 24,2017 the Army Corps of Engineers approved the application of our client the Murray Construction Company for a jurisdictional determination on their property in Rutherford.


On October 3-5, 2017, in the Law Division of the Hudson County Superior Court (Docket #L-48-15) George Cascino gave expert testimony in a potential landmark case on behalf of his client Eugene Ewan Mori v. the State of N.J., regarding the State's alleged Tidelands/Riparian Claims on property in Secaucus.  A Decision by the Court is imminent.


On June 15, 2017, Secaucus approved the request of our client Century 21, for a change in use/site improvements for their property in Secaucus.


On May 9,2017, the NJDEP approved a request of our client, Old Quarry Road Associates, LLC, for inclusion of their proposed Materials Recovery Facility within the Somerset County Solid Waste Management Plan for property located in Bernardsville.


On May 3, 2017, the NJSEA approved a request of our client, NY/NJ Recycling, LLC, for a Zoning Certificate for an office addition at their property located in Lyndhurst.


On April 21, 2017, the Planning Board approved a request of our client, Blue Glass, LLC, for a Variance Application to modify a two family home for property located in Pompton Lakes.


On March 15, 2017, the NJSEA approved a request of our client, Quixote Studios, LLC, for a Zoning Certificate for improvements to their parking lot located in Carlstadt.


On March 7, 2017, the Zoning Board approved a request of our client, Fairfield Storage, LLC, for Site Plan, Subdivision and Use Variances in order to construct a self storage facility on property located in Fairfield.


On February 1, 2017, the NJSEA approved a request of our client, Campbell Foundry, for a Zoning Certificate for environmental improvements on their property located in Kearny.


On December 2, 2016, the NJDEP approved a request of our client, FYC Recycling, LLC, for a modification to their Class B recycling center in Totowa.


On November 16, 2016, the NJSEA approved a request of our client, Prologis/Prada, for a Zoning Certificate for certain internal renovations at their property located in Secaucus.


On November 9, 2016, the Planning Board approved a request of our client, M & T Bank, for a Site Plan & Variance Application to place site improvements at their bank for property located in Lodi.


On July 12, 2016, the NJSEA approved the request of our client H Mart Companies, Inc., for a Zoning Certificate for their warehouse at their property located in Carlstadt.


On July 6, 2016, the NJ Tidelands Council approved the request of our client, Campbell Foundry, for a tidelands grant  related to its site remediation plan for property located in Kearny.


On July 5, 2016, the NJSEA approved the bulk variance applications of our client, Pan American Coffee, for an addition to their warehouse in Rutherford.


On May 12, 2016, the NJSEA approved the Rezoning of our client's,  North Bergen Motel Association, LLC, property from the Environmental Conservation Zone to a Highway Commercial Zone in North Bergen.


On May 12, 2016, the NJSEA approved the Zoning Certificate of our client, Strassburger Steaks, LLC, for a Certificate of Occupancy for an Office Warehouse Facility in Carlstadt.


On April 25, 2016, the NJSEA issued a Zoning Certificate to our client, Fraternity Meadows LLC, to construct 160 residential unit Building K in Secaucus.


On March 17, 2016, the NJDEP approved a Flood Hazard Area Non-Applicability Determination for our client, Renata Blazon, for a single family home addition in Fairfield.


On February 25, 2016, the NJSEA approved the Zoning Certificate of our client, NY/NJ Recycling, LLC, to renovate a Class A Recycling Facility in Lyndhurst.


On February 16, 2016, the Fairfield Zoning Board approved the Site Plan Application of our client, 222 Passaic Avenue Associates, for a Use Variance to allow a contractor's business in Fairfield.


On February 11, 2016, the Bergen County Planning Board approved the Site Plan Application of our client, the Baldanza Construction Company, to construct a 12 unit residential condominium project in Montvale.


On January 21, 2016, the NJDEP issued a Flood Hazard Area Individual Permit to our client, the Campbell Foundry Company, to implement certain site improvements on their property in Kearny.


On December 15, 2015, the Borough of Montvale approved the Site Plan Application of our client, the Baldanza Construction Company, to construct a 12 unit residential condominium project in Montvale.


On November 10, 2015, the NJDEP issued a Coastal Zone General Permit #20 to our client, Faith Inc., to establish an office/warehouse in Carlstadt.


On September 25, 2015, the NJMC issued a Zoning Certificate to our client, Cubitac Corporation, for a Certificate of Occupancy for a use change to their property in Ridgefield.


On August 17, 2015, the NJMC approved the Zoning Certificate of our client, NY-NJ Recycling to establish a Class A Recycling Facility in Lyndhurst.


On June 11, 2015, the NJDEP issued a Flood Hazard Area Individual Permit to our client, Faith Inc., to establish an office/warehouse in Carlstadt.


On April 21, 2015, the Township of Saddle Brook issued a Site Plan approval to our client, Stonebrook Garden & Landscape Supply, LLC, to establish a garden center in Saddle Brook. 


On  March 31, 2015, the Fairfield Zoning Board issued a Use Variance approval to our client, Fairfield Storage LLC, to modify an existing self-storage facility in Fairfield.


On February 25, 2015, the NJMC approved the Zoning Certificate of our client, D&M Associates, to establish a Dunkin' Donuts facility in Carlstadt.


On February 5, 2015, Governor Christie signed new legislation that merged the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission into the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. The NJMC, formerly the HMDC, had been created in 1969 to regulate development while also providing for environmental preservation and control of solid waste.  As a result the towns of Secaucus and Kearny are now able to issue site plan approvals for uses that meet the Master Plan of the NJSEA.


On February 5, 2015, the NJDEP issued a Treatment Works Approval to our client, AR North Developers LLC for 336 residential units and 38,659SF retail on an 11 acre tract in Bloomfield. This approval followed Zoning Approvals from the Township of Bloomfield on 10/14/14 and Essex County on 1/14/15.


On February 4, 2015, the NJMC approved the special exception request of our client, D&M Associates to establish a Dunkin' Donuts Facility in Carlstadt.


On January 7, 2015, the Planning Board approved the Site Plan and variances to our client, Jemcil Inc., for a retail building in Lodi.


On January 5, 2015, the NJMC issued a Zoning Certificate to our client, Wonder Meats for a warehouse addition in Carlstadt.


On October 30, 2014, the NJDEP issued a Class B Recycling Center Approval Modification to our client, FYC Recycling in Totowa.


On October 27, 2014, the NJDEP issued a Class B Recycling Center Approval Modification to our client, Jefferson Recycling, LLC, in Jefferson Township.


On October 1, 2014, the NJMC issued a Zoning Certificate approval for our client, Beaver Construction for a contractors yard in North Bergen.


On September 17, 2014, the NJDEP issued a Flood Hazard Area Permit to our client, Jemcil Inc. for a retail facility in Lodi.


On September 4, 2014, the Bloomfield Planning Board issued a Site Plan Approval to our client, 192 Bloomfield LLC, to construct a 336 unit residential development and a 38,000 s.f. commercial development in Bloomfield.


On August 6, 2014, the New York District of the ACOE issued a Nationwide Permit #18 for our client, Eastbound Inc in East Rutherford.


On July 29, 2014, in the case of the NJ Turnpike Authority vs. Marina Capozello, a settlement was reached which awarded $925,000 (original offer $135,000) to our client Ms. Capozello for her land needed to construct interchange improvements in East Windsor Township.


On April 2014, the Bergen County Planning Board issued a Site Plan Approval to our client, Jemcil Inc., for a retail facility in Lodi.



On July 28, 2012, in the case of NJ Transit Corp. versus Eugene E. Mori, Hudson County Superior Court, the jury ruled in favor of our client Eugene E. Mori, for compensation in the amount of $425,000 as the result of the taking of 1 acre of his property in North Bergen, NJ. Expert testimony was given by George D. Cascino, P.E., P.P.,in the case.


On May 1, 2012, the NJMC issued a Zoning Certificate to our client, Fraternity Meadows LLC, for 588 residential units in Secaucus, Buildings I & J.


On April 2, 2012, the County of Hudson awarded our client Fraternity Meadows the Smart Growth Silver Award for their 2,000 unit residential development in Secaucus.


On June 19, 2006, the Supreme Court of the United States, in the case of Rapanos v. United States, in a split 4-4 decision, brought into question the interpretation of the Clean Water Act relating to the definition of "wetlands."  Specifically, Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, in the controlling solitary opinion, said that to come under Federal Protection, under a proper interpretation of the Clean Water Act, a wetland needs to have a "significant nexus" to a body of water that is actually navigable.
